Terms of service

Layaway Program:

Merchandise put on layaway will be held for 60 days with a minimum deposit of $10 or 20% of the item's value, whichever is greater, plus a non-refundable $10 service fee.  If you do not complete your layaway on time, or cancel at any time, all items will be returned to stock and you will forfeit your original payment ($10 or 20% of the item's value, whichever is greater) and the non-refundable service fee.  The following items cannot be placed on layaway: special order items such as DPVs and drysuits.  Valid photo ID is required for all layaway, pick-ups and refunds. Partial pick-ups are not permitted. Merchandise on layaway will not be marked down. Refunds will only be provided in the form of merchandise store credit. Service and cancellation fees are subject to tax where applicable. 

Non-Refundable Deposits:

Certain high-value items sold at Flipper's Diving LLC are not available for direct purchase through the website such as close circuit rebreathers (CCR), diver propulsion vehicles, drysuits, etc.  Due to the high value of these items and that they either require special ordering from the manufacturer, require validation of training and certification or contact information for your instructor, we do not allow these items to be sold directly on the website.  Instead you may opt to purchase a deposit on your item for $100.  These deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Please be certain that you want to purchase these items before purchasing the deposit via the website.  You may avoid the deposit by contacting the shop directly and coordinating deposit and final payment via bank transfer, zelle or other pre-agreed upon payment methods.
