Do you use an air integrated transmitter like the Shearwater Swift with your regulators? Are you worried about a divemaster grabbing your scuba kit by the transmitter instead of the valve handle and breaking it?? Add a little insurance to your investment!
A short high pressure hose with a high pressure spool will provide a flexible connection between your transmitter and your first stage regulator. If someone grabs it by accident it will keep it from getting damaged. This is an easy upgrade you can do yourself!
NOTE: for this to be successful you must remove the small o-ring from around the threads of your transmitter. If you do not remove the o-ring, it will leak! Once the o-ring is removed, place the HP spool in the small hole at the base of the transmitter and screw the HP hose in place. Then screw the assembly into your first stage regulator HP port.
